Basketball 4-1-1

It’s with deep sorrow that the A1 Challenge family has suffered loss to one of their own. Meg Maggie lost her dad early in the week and burial is today. We ask you GRACIOUS LORD to grant the entire family and friends STRENGTH AND COMFORT in this devastating time. May his soul Rest in Peace. *************************************** ******************************************** Now with all that’s happening in the basketball fraternity, I guess all I can say is stay tuned coz you will be left out if you “pash-on-jobo” Okay with all that’s happening in the local basketball transfers……I wonder what da heck is happening to the Miracle Eagles??They have failed to retain their “top players” Dehm they’ve literally lost just about the whole starting line-up. These are surely trying times for the Eagles who made their debut last year in the play-offs. It would be a hard task to ask them to replicate that this season. Losing Colin Mukiza [MIRACLE to DMARK POWER], Geoffrey Omondi [UCU CANONS to FALCONS], Ceasar [further studies abroad], Steve Omony [MIRACLE to FALCONS], Norman Blick [MIRACLE to KYU Warriors]. MOUNTAIN DEW FALCONS have also signed Tony Oluka as coach and Gad Eteu as his assistant. They intend to hold on to Osano Richard who would now have to work with Omony Steve.

Have a brilliant sporting weekend

The 2012-2013 FUBA League is Officially Under....

Though it was started on a "caught-with-pants-down" note, and many stakeholders left with a bitter taste in their mouths. However having said that, action went on:

DMARK POWER 74:65 UCU CANONS

DMark Power continuing from where they left off last season. Being led by Isaac Afidra and Komakech Ben intertwining in the assault-roles. [15pts and 14pts respectively]

There was a familiar face in the UCU outfit and yes......you guessed right, twaz former Power small forward Boniface Okello, now switching loyalties and is with UCU Canons.

However, Sudi Ulanga's 16 points was not enough to save the UCU Canons side.

Other Results:

Sharing 52:66 BushCourt

Well action continues today with:

HEATERS V NKUMBA MARINES @ 7:30PM
VEGETARIANS V FALCONS @ 5:30PM
KIU RANGERS V MAGIC STORMERS @3:30PM
